KANTAN Chord system (KC) （かんたんコードシステム）は、だれでも楽器を演奏できることを目指して開発された、コード（和音）を表す表記の一つです。
表記はナッシュビルナンバーシステム(NNS)に似ていますが、少し異なる部分もあります。
“KANTAN Chord system” (KC) is one of the chord notation methods that was developed to simplify the playing of musical instruments.
Its notation is similar to the “Nashville Number System” (also referred to as NNS) , but there are some differences.
Diatonic chord (ダイアトニックコード)
KCでは、数値はキーにおける度数を表しており、1,4,5 はメジャー、2,3,6,7はマイナーのコードを示します。NNSでは、”7″ は VIIdim を示しますが、KCでは、”7″ は VIImを示します。
In KC, The number shows the scale degree on the key. The numbers 1, 4, 5 indicates the major chords, while the numbers 2, 3, 6, 7 indicates the minor chords.
In NNS, “7” indicates VIIdim, however in KC “7” indicates VIIm.
Swap (スワップ)
KC では、メジャーとマイナーを入れ替えることをスワップと呼び、”～”で表します。
スワップを使うと、様々なコードを指２本で弾くことができます。
In KC, to invert major and minor is called “swap” and is written as “~”.
